Ok so if you read my reviews you know how picky I am. But let me tell ya'll I have found a hidden gem. This place has been here 30 years. Family own and operated. The food is fabulous. The fried chicken the best I've had in a long time. Fried green tomatoes. They were crispy, but flaky at the same time. If you like green tomatoes your gonna love these. And when we say mashed taters we mean real potatoes. Everything and I mean everything ,and I mean I tried it all was just fabulous. The staff and owner are the true meaning of hospitality, and while there you can hear the locals sharing there life's with each other. Everyone was so friendly. I will be returning to try the seafood buffet on Friday and Saturday nights. I hear they have fresh mullet. Get there before 2:30 they only serve lunch and weekend dinner. By the way great afternoon drive to a very qaint little town. Only about 14 miles off the I 10. We'll worth the drive. And did I mention it's all you can eat!

This was an unexpected very pleasant experience from a very small rural old town. The servers were very helpful and pleasant. The buffet is much smaller than a Golden Corral. There were about 6-8 entree choices along with numerous side dishes. A separate salad bar and separate dessert bar. The pork and Gravy was on point. The teriyaki wings were favorable. The fried chicken looked and smelled wonderful. The kitchen staff was doing an incredible job keeping the food hot and fresh, and making sure they trays stayed full during this busy time after church. Lastly, the price was well worth. Sunday lunch on this day was, $15.00 cash or $16.00 card. That included the drink.

Really good down home people and food here. Wednesday is my favorite day to go because country fried steak with gravy and meatloaf are always served. Sides on Wednesday usually include green beans, Brussel sprouts and field peas. They always have mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and cornbread dressing. Bread pudding was on the dessert table this past Wednesday and was really good. Prices are reasonable considering the many options and all you can eat. It's worth the trip if you are anywhere close by.
